All parents should be like the ones on "leave it to beaver".

Parents should emulate Ward Cleaver and Mrs. Cleaver untill they're children move out of the house. They should always be extremely patient, calm, and forgiving. They should not ever show anger in front of anyone.

I agree 100%. Children absorb everything they see or hear until adulthood into their permanent personality for the rest of their lives. The parents should always see the children as the main characters in the story once they have them.

i wish my parents were like this. it's still considered comedy for black fathers to be loud, obnoxious ass holes for some reason... it's really not that funny in real life.

yeah, i don't like that martin lawrence/dave chappele bullshit either. He wants to be funny, but he's always got a big chip on his shoulder about people laughing at him, so he's constantly paranoid about why individual people are laughing, and now the fucking bald cocksucker is back on stage after taking steroids and gaining 100 pounds of solid muscle. And we're supposed to think that his comedy routine is natural thoughts after all this anti white evil bullshit? this guy is like a black george costanza and i wouldn't be suprised if he just started raping people.

what about richard pryor? i've seen his stand up specials a bunch of times. What was he really trying to talk about onstage? what was so hilarious about him shootin heroin and transforming himself into "mudbone"(basically himself with a weird facial expression and voice) and telling people he wanted to fuck his own ass with his fist and suck on it and fucking shove it up your wifes ass too and make a peanut butter sandwhich. People laughed at anything he said just to not be racist back then. Maybe he was nessacary, but he beat the shit out of all his wives and always put on a tough guy act around the house. guys with parkinsons and m.s. usually have a need to be seen as a "bad ass" in someones eyes. i hate that.

i blame all these movies like "the godfather" and "good fellas" teaching guys to go around acting like they're "bad-ass" and talking to everybody like they're almost ready to fight. it's so fucking stupid, and it'll never stop.

What the fuck do you want him to do comedy about? sitting around jackin off and smoking weed? Of course his comedy routine isn't natural, that guy is a fake ass nigga. He comes from a very sheltered, suburban family that placed an emphasis on education. This guy's whole shstc has been telling people jokes that they heard a million times with a pacific-northwest twang in his voice, which was funny for a while, but people started feeling like he was manipulative and fake. I wouldn't be suprised at all if every word of his routine was written by some miserable fat fuck like john goodman or chris farley to make some black money.

nobody will do it because they're so fucking selfish and stupid. most parents don't give a shit what life lessons their kids learn, and just want them to do yard work and go to school.

It's normal. They were great examples of marriage and parenting, and entirely realistic.

Children need to experience disappointment and hurt and be yelled at and all those other negative things so that they know that they can't always expect everything to be rosy.
There is nothing worse than a pampered child growing to be a 40 year old adult who cries when his boss talks sternly to him because he is emotionally weak and frail

    Parents are human.

Additionally, there is a need for parents to actually parent. Not everything can be the child's way or completely without conflict.

I could say more, but I suspect you're a moron and/or shitstirring, and therefore, not worth my time.
