As long as you are happy. Whatever floats your boat. I don't Hang out go to parties either, I have a old spirit. But just don't hinder your possibilities. But no I never met somebody who just wanted to study and NOT have a life!!! Never!! Just Keep your happiness though that is the most important thing of all.

high school is a delicate and sensitive time. Perhaps as an adult you might have better opportunities to socialize.
But seriously why would you need to study all the time?
I myself choose not to socialize because I am a little fed up but that is not very healthy.

Do not let anyone tell you thats not normal. If thats what you want to do, then do it. I'm in engineering, and from personal experience, a mind set like that is a common occurence with only one way to go the way your still going...up! to the top of your class! You rock!

ever heard of all work and no play?..im in university,and my studies are top priority but it doesnt mean you cant have fun.learn to make time for studying and time for friends or just to relax and have fun.

It's normal I love my personal space, but I would say don't go down a lonely path, it always leads to depression. (Man by nature is a socialbe animal who is born into a world of politics and people)

Well it is a little. It's great that you care a lot about school but, sometimes, studying too much is a little unhealthy. You have to ready yourself for the world once you get out of college. Having friends, exploring the world etc is a great way to do that. And there are little things in books that you just can't use out in the real world. You should atleast get one friend to help you out there. Don't turn into a hermit.

Actually I mostly feel the same way, I really don't care about any of those things execpt for the friend part other than that I feel the same way you do so yeah I'd say it's normal.

It's normal. In HS i was a nerdy loner. And i liked it. College just get's better.. I love learning and knowledge so it is normal. Better than being a superficial, fake, and stupid teenager douchebag.

My advice is to not study just as much but to go & have a bit of a social life if u havent already ruined ur chances already.

Yea, it's normal enough, I knew some guys like that when i was at school. The fact you have a good work ethic should get you far in life and that you enjoy it is a plus, but sometimes it's good to have a bit more of a work/life balance. There are similarly minded people that you might get along well with, you should keep an eye out for them : ) but hey, do whatever makes you happy.
