All day long...

Is it normal that i could just sit behind my PC-screen. ALL DAY LONG. If i wasn't obliged to go to school/eat/sleep then i wouldn't take a lot of breaks i think.. I like chilling with friends and i'm not anti-social or anything... I can just find everything i need on the internet.

Ofcourse everybody takes breaks, me too, but sometimes i just feel, (not allways, sometimes), like i could live with just my PC.

Hello, you from the recent past... ;)

I could have sworn this conversation had been longer and you asked something about my genius idea from way back in Feb 15 2000.

I have searched for this text right after I mentioned it and I found it then, when we talked, but had never accessed this device since. I originally had written it in another language, so I just translated it ipsis litteris maintaining original formatting. I don’t expect it to make sense or to be appreciated as a work of art! Or at all, for that matter. Hahaha. I did it more out of curiosity than anything. However, I couldn’t contain myself and wrote an Editor’s Note at the end.

          ---

At the entrance a green sign with white letters indicated the direction:
          FORESt -> of alienation...

Holy cross on the sign. My holy cross cries blood...

The sky I see is prettier than I can feel!

Cybernetic god... Where does god come in on the net? Has he got a lap or a palm or a holy top? I think we must save a handful of incarnations using the net.....

          ---

Ta-daaah!!! The blooming of a brilliant mind! Hahahahahaha. *rolls eyes* :D (Seriously, I'm embarrassed, but whatever, since it's been so long it practically wasn't me).

*I referenced there a certain text by a Portuguese author I was reading obsessively at the time and whose words were ingraining in my subconscious then. I had dreams similar to the way he wrote. Very poetic, but full of existential angst and solitude. He was mainly a poet, but wrote two plays - possibly three(?); I was in one of them, another is this one, In The Forest of Alienation, although it is not exactly a play, it’s more of a monologue in prose. I could find only one translation to it and I have not yet read it to see if it matches the original writings. Probably won’t any time soon. haha. If you have some spare time and ANY interest it’s there, for a rainy day or for time-travel when you’re in the future. Or just for the sake of being there. :)

I don't think there are words that can describe how much I love this:) Perhaps, this is a stone further than the pond but have you ever heard of Gilles Deleuze?

Well, I hope you're speaking of the real poet, Ava. Haha :D Which I'm sure you are. He really is interesting. You have now a whole new universe to explore there. I can really see it, you resonating with his work. I've heard of him, yes, but have never gotten into Deleuze myself.

I think you should make that post!! Looong ago I wrote something about cybergod, despite my not having any faith in any kind of god. I made that up, but obviously no one believes me now. I could actually prove it, I even have a 5" floppy disk to provide as evidence, but it's too late for me. Make your post now before it's too late for you! Go go go, Shackles! Fire in the hole! :D

Unfortunately, in this digital age, yes, it's normal.

I wish I had the time to spend all day on my Laptop. I have many different stories and poems I want to type up but never have the time.

Why does this remind me of The Matrix in the parts where Neo is still hooked up to "The Matrix" and hasn't taken the red pill yet?

I sit behind my screen all day long but it's because of my job. When I go home I rarely use it except when I have some inspiration and I want to write and on week ends I simply don't have the time.
