Against the grain

Is it normal that my family doesn't want to do anything to help change our world (go against the government, break the rules, rally, etc), yet I do? I am the black sheep cause I don't want to be a conformist. I want to stand up for what I believe in and help others. Meanwhile they're like, "don't bother. You can't change anything."

SCREW THAT!

The need to rebel often comes out of frustration with menotiny and frequent but unresolved injustices, and you are one of those poeple who actually change the world in the end because you believe you can! thats amazing dude, don't lose your spirit.

  • You have a social conscious. They don't. Thankfully there are people in the world like you. There are too many who never say or do or contribute anything, bitch about what's wrong about the world, and dump on or belittle the efforts of those who make a difference in the ways you are suggesting and many many other ways.

So ignore them and be yourself. They aren't much of an example. But don't judge them. They represent the indifference and laziness of a lot of people.
