After pouring raviolis into strainer, they break, do you pick up?

What I mean is...do you spend a few minutes picking off every last piece of spinach off of the strainer, or do you get like 80% of it in 5 to 10 seconds and leave the rest??? I do the latter, not because I am in a rush, but because I do not want to be bothered...and sociologically I don't think or feel that this says anything about me as person...and in fact I used to be the other way I just got sick of doing it...

  • If they are breaking maybe you should cook them for less time.

omg, had to comment. I have OCD too, but I don't think I overanalyzed anything as meaningless as this right now, and I'm...cooked right now :P.

  • I don't understand what/why/who you're "leaving the rest" for.

    • I'm usually busy doing a few things and forget about my food often...in fact when I was heating the water to cook these raviolis, I got confused and found myself with Frosted Mini Wheats to pour in, until I realized what I was doing..

        • yeah, yesterday I probably ripped over 100 CD's, plus somewhere along the line, I started posting here again...as far as porn goes, these days..its pretty much zip in, watch, and zip out...and then get back to what I was doing. I'm going to look up fusilli & penne tomorrow morning.

            • why do you say that? Screw that, I've already done my share...unless possibly if it is becoming a millionaire working as a custodian at the new Apple complex or something similar working for Target...or possibly selling quality Pop-corn at Golden Gate Park or Painting guard Rails there as well..but get my neighbor for that shit, he needs work a hell of a lot worse than me!! but by that time, I'll just be some old guy pushing a trash can around...my parents have dough, not enough to make me a millionaire though...I met a guy at Dan's who worked for $40,000 per year with a billionaire who made hundreds of million per year, not only that he worked harder than the rich guy...I would never do that, it would drive me fucking insane...BTW my new housemates uncle was a founding creator of paypal (so he says)and pays his rent..(though he makes about $1200 per month at his job, I don't know where it all goes...this guy down the balcony who is getting evicted because he lost his job of one year, who has lived at this complex for 9 years and has at least 4 kids and a wife, is not getting crap for welfare, I have no idea why??..also barely any unemployment...less than $200 total for everything..I'm almost 50 years old and do NOT fancy going back to school, my short term memory is shot to hell, I also do NOT fancy working for some billionaire at pauper wages, especially when I figure my dad is worth a decent amount...I budget myself, that is all...

I don't strain mine this way. I use the pan lid to leave enough gap for the water to drain out but not enough for the ravioli to drain out (although one sneaky raviolo always slips through). The pan is still warm and then I add the sauce and give it just a little extra heat.

    Saves on the washing-up too.

    I wash everything thoroughly, always.

Sometimes I wonder why I even have a dish washer.
