After I have an orgasm after having sex with a male or female my sex drive is complete gone. I always make sure I do them first. Is this just a guy thing or just me?

if you came there is no (natural) sense to have sex again with that female so you get lost and do another one some mins later. thats how nature works. it in our genes.

That loss of sexual appetite is often accompanied by a slight loss of need or love for a person. It makes you realise what percentage of what you thought of as being love and affection is actually libido. Noble as any of us think we are, we all delude ourselves. Whether we're not complicit in deluding our partners (as we're deluded too) makes it any better, I don't know.

Some guys just can't keep it up after an orgasm. If you think it isn't an emotional disconection from your partner, then maybe its medical. I haven't had that problem. My boyfriend is hard after everyone and I am always a hornball.

Yes it's a man thing. It's evolutionary! The idea is that a man will want ot find another partner, so he can spread his seed more and ensure the survival of the specis.
In return, women generally have lower sex-drives, and are slightly more "picky".
This ensures only the "best" can reproduce.
However, people mate for life often, sometimes because sex can lead to long-term attachment.
I know I make it sound terrible, but I don't see why these things should make love/sex any less amazing/beautiful than they are!!
