Afraid of positivity sometimes

is it normal to be afraid of positivity and being somewhat hesitant to leave depression, pessism, etc after coming to know that long years of depression taught me how to see the details much better than normal people? or is it just false assumption. i read it in psychology actually. what say

Well. Being depressed shows you the truth of the world and how it is. If you kinda forget this state of mind later you can blindly go along with the stupid rest.

Not techniqly "afraid" of positivity, But i hate optimistic people. They really bothers me. I always think you should just look at/ excpect the worst that way you wont get disapointed. So you seem to be normal to me, i too think positive people don't see the whole picture or just see what they want to see

If you don't expect positive things to happen then you will never fail. It's a crutch...probably normal but not healthy.

I would say normal. Now that you know what you know, maybe you can be optimistic whilst seeing the details as you do. Whatever the case. Hope you cheer uppp. :)

I have been through that and I'm still a kid, it seems that the dark years have taught me things that others the same age as I do not seem to know. Somehow I'm a wise person for my age and (I'm not boasting.) I know the answer to many things. Keeping myself to myself has made me get to know myself, the way I think, the way I act.
That way I know in advance what to say and what to do, it comes in very useful.
