Afraid of listening to claming music?

You have probably seen the trick where you are supposed to stare at a picture and BAM!, you hear a scream out nowhere and some scary picture is on the screen.
Every time I want to listen to calming music off the internet I am always afraid it is going to be some practical joke where the music is soft and soothing, but all of a sudden a loud BAM! is going to happen. That alone gets me worked up. The music does not help, since I am always prepared for the BAM!, being all tense still.

    I was listening calming music in a radiation suit for an psychedelic experience in Hiroshima, 1945. I jumped.

    It's a bit paranoid. Any internet radio station would never do something like this if they wanted to keep their listeners. As for things like YouTube, I imagine the comments section would be rife with complaints if this happened.

    I'm a bit afraid of listening to claming music. I enjoy being a human, I don't want to risk being turned into a clam!! :-O

    I've never heard of clam music before, but it sounds really boring. I have heard of recordings of tree frogs which are hot selling CD's in college towns.

    its ok just listen to owl city just search the bird and the worm click the one made of drawings im sure it wnt pop up its all a matter of trust

    You're conditioned to be expecting something scary when you hear it. To undo it...just watch other music vids and work your way around different genres until you're comfortable with listening to calming music on youtube. Or simply don't listen to music on youtube...

    the calming music you hear, is just the filler, it's the introduction to the SCARY music,,,so it's a prelude to your indefinite death in this horror movie we all call life, ah don't piss the bed just yet, run away, run away at top speed while the killer behind you who is only casually walking yet somehow, with making little to no attempt to catch up with you, grabs you, while you're runnin and slits your throat...AHHH

    I can see what you mean, I dislike the surprise element that you can sometimes feel might be there. But don't let it bother you too much, you can't think everything calm you come across might change and provoke you instead.
