Hey, I have a boyfriend whose pretty nice and treats me well. The only problem is.....he's affectionate in his words wayyyy more than his actions.

He'll tell me sweet things and I mean he kisses me and stuff, but I just wish he'd do a lot more little affectionate things like kiss my forehead, or tickle me, or call me baby more, or buy me flowers (flowers are 3 for $10 at the store...not too expensive).

Is it normal that I want more psychical affection from him?

    Girls can never get enough affection or attention! Trust me you're normal, the key to being happy with a man is accepting them with their faults! It's almost impossible because men have so many, but we can only try! Good luck!

    Yes, it's normal to feel that way.
    I think you should tell him how you feel about the way he shows his love too you, I'm sure he'll understand.

    yes sadly it is normal...and that's what confuses us guys about you girls...there are times when you want affection and times when you don't and for some reason you expect us to read your minds and pick up on this :|

    ok here is what you do...lead by example if you want him to tickle you more you have to do what i call getting a play started even tho he might not be ticklish try tickling him and he SHOULD get the hint...

    as for him calling you baby,this would be sort of difficult but if you would come up with pet names for each other this could be accomplished by again leading by example

    kissing on the forehead...this is more of a father daughter relationship and less of a boy girl relationship you could try to get him to do it by after a play snuggling up close to him head at about mouth level and he MIGHT decide to do this

    as far as flowers are concerned that just going to be something you have to tell him

    and the other stuff it would be best to just talk to him about it if my advise doesn't work
    in fact unless it would make you uncomfortable it would probably be best to just right off the bat tell him that you want more physical attention but give him examples so he doesn't take it wrong...because guys are very sexually oriented and it probably would be taken wrong unless you clear it up lol
