Addicted to speeding

Is it normal that I can't drive the speed limit? Seriously. I am ADDICTED to speeding. If there's no one in front of me, there's a 99.9% chance I will be speeding. It can range from going an extra 1km/hr to like double the speed limit (I'm talking 120km/hr in a 60 zone).

I am always in control of my car, and I have never been in an accident. I am careful. I just can't stop speeding.

I even bought a radar detector, which is illegal where I live. My friend did the same thing.

The only time I don't speed is when I'm nice and high. It is the only thing that mellows me out and makes me drive the speed limit (sometimes under). Please note: I am always in complete control of my vehicle. Pot does not make me stupid (like the common MYTHS lead us to believe).

I just can't help it. I'm always in a hurry, even when I don't have to be.

IS this normal? Oh yeah, I am a aturally hyper person.

When I got a new car, I vowed to myself that I wouldn't speed in it. What happened? I was holding up traffic. Now I almost always do at least 10km (5miles) over the limit, but people still pass me like I'm hardly moving.

Tourist traffic (out-of-towners & RVs & trucks towing boats) make me want to speed more than anything else because they go so freakin' slow - like 10-30km (13-65miles) under the limit and NEVER pull over to let the dozens of cars, who want to do the speed limit (or more) pass them!

    • Gotta love the tourist traffic, lol. Yeah if my car was new, I probably wouldn't speed as much... but mine is 12 years old, so it's really not a big deal anymore, haha.

If everyone smoked pot before they drove around, all road signs posted would be for 5mph.

  • Just wait till you kill someone because of your speeding. Poor innocent people could and probably will get harmed because of your dirty habit. I suggest you stop
