    I suppose if the majority of people find you attractive, the few that rejected you could be considered unjustified in doing so.

    Then again, it could just be that you don't appeal to those few people's tastes. If that's the case, it shouldn't matter since it means that they're probably not right for you anyway if they can't accept you the way you are.

    The only problem here is that a rejection by someone you care about may not weigh evenly against the acceptance of others.

    No because say those people are the ones you really care about and pined over while the other fifty are dirty perverts. Unless you didn't really care if you got rejected, rejection has meaning no matter how many other people like you.
