Ability to drink and drink and never feel a thing???!! is it normal?

I have a friend, we both work together in the restaurant industry. She is a 19 year old female, normal weight and height, doesn't have a big history of drinking..... we like to go out to other restaurants and drink after work sometimes. She can drink all types of mixed cocktails and even mixed "easy shot" and still tells me she feels nothing! She had more drinks than me and can drive fine and is completley sober.. I mean it....completley sober!!!!!...and I have a history of drinking, can handle my alchohol not so bad. I'll drink the same thing as her or less and get pretty smashed....
I really need help with this! I don't know why this occurs...I hate to see her waste her $!

    Lol I'm that way I can drink more then most people and not feel a thing. Certain drinks will make me drunk other things just will not depends on the drinks your drinking

    I'm the same way, no matter the amount of alcohol, I'll never get that drunk feeling unless I spin around in circles. It could be a heredity thing, or the type of food she eats while drinking?

    It's not normal but it's possible. At some point during my menstrual cycle it takes me a significantly higher amount of weed or alcohol to even feel anything. It's weird.

    you can get cocktails that have no alcohol in them, that is probably what she is drinking.
