About a year ago, my wife started a rather odd habit. Just before we start having sex, she calls one of her many girl friends (with my permission of course). Then she talks with them in a bit of an animated way while we are humping. Originally, I encouraged her to do this because it seemed to make her happier. But, now I don't know.

What do you think?

If she thinks it's sexy, do it because it's harmless.	7

You don't say how you feel about it: if you both enjoy this, that's ok but it is a bit creepy if the girlfriend on the other end of the phone doesn't know about it

  I suspect the girlfriend knows what's going on, and they have a few code words they use during the conversation to enhance the vicariousness of the situation. Then I think they talk about the whole thing next time they meet.
  
  Originally, I was very tolerant of the whole thing, but now I want a few other opinions. Not sure this is headed in a healthy direction.

        Yeah, for your partner & her girlfriend, but that doesn't mean you have to be involved in something which makes you uncomfortable: it's also normal for you to be uncomfortable with it

    I was thinking more along the lines of: oh is that so-and-so? Didnt you think she looked super fat in that outfit the last time we saw her? And so annoying when she wouldnt shut up about her dumb cat and ugly baby..... that would bring the situation to a head nicely.

You need to talk to your wife about how it makes you feel. If it's starting to make you uncomfortable it's ok to just tell her. She should hopefully be able to respect your feelings in the matter. As for what you want from telling her, that's up to you.
