A nnoyed at girls constantly saying how great their boyfriend is?

I'm not talking about one small "oh my boyfriend is so great!" post, I'm talking about those girls who are ok the social networking sites that 1/2 their status updates are
"I miss my boyfriend", "it's been 256 days since I met the most wonderful guy in the world, he bumped into me and yadayadayada"
And seriously it's not like any important dates or anything it's every other freaking day!

I honestly think its the cutest thing in the world when your girlfriend says something sweet about you to the world every now and again but I can't help but feel that if my girlfriend was doing it every other day I'd get super bored of it! Not to mention all your friends who just want you to shut the heck up!

I'd delete this person but they're an actual close-ish friend of mine and I know they'd be SUPER emotionally hurt of I did. And who wants to be the jerk that tell a girl "you're really annoying posting so much about how great your BF is"

ANYWAYS. Is it normal for me to be so annoyed at this or am I just overreacting and being stupid. Honestly I'll accept the second one too! I've just been dealing with it for a whole year now!!!

    It's THEIR ACCOUNT. If you dislike what they update about, don't read their posts.

    Since when is ANYONE obliged to tailor their posts just to suit what you want to read?

    I think you are overreacting. Unless what they are saying is hurting your feelings, but why would it? My facebook frends say it all the time. It means that they probably don't have anything better going on in their lives. I actually feel sorry for them. Sounds like shit of me to say, but it makes me feel a bit better about myself knowing that I have more than just my man going on in my life, haha.

    Just block their updates if all of the "OMG I LOVE MY BOYFRIEND SO MUCH" gets annoying.

    I also think it is funny when I see the taglines from their phones posted on facebook saying "His princess" or something like that. I think associating the whole of your identity based on who you are with is stupid, though =/
