A mountain lion is chasing me

Long story short, I'm hiking on a moutain in South America, without warning I start hearing growls and twigs snapping under footsteps, then I realise I'm being hunted by a moutain lion, I run and panic towards a cliff edge, the creature is only about 12 metres behind me, there is a big rock that I can pick up, below the cliff is a protruding part of the moutain that's not too far down I can jump on, I also have knife and padded clothes on me, what do I do?

Pick up the rock and hurl it at the lion 5
Jump on the protruding part of the mountain below the cliff edge 4
Turn around and stab the lion using my knife 2
Let it pounce onto me and fight it 1
Freeze and scream 2
