A good way to eat oatmeal
Over 90% of oats grown are used for animal feed. It is sad that so much land is used for feeding animals, most of which we do not need in our diet. In fact, animal products are what is killing us - giving us all of our degenerative diseases. The symproms of a society that eats animal and dairy proucts is heart disease and cancer.
Oats may be eaten raw or cooked. In both states the necessary ingredients are there to help control colesterol in your blood stream. Oats are helpful in flushing colesterol out of your system and particularly benefit meat and dairy eaters.
The way that I prepare oats is to add them to warm water in which I have already dissolved some maple syrup, a dash of ancient sea salt and a dash of cayane pepper. The ancient sea salt is rich in all minerals and is not contaminated as would be Mediteranean sea salt, for instance. The cayane pepper adds a slight amount of bite and is a heart stimulant and the maple syrup contains superoxide dismutase which is an antioxidant that rejuvenates other antioxidants in your system that have become depleted. I also add organically grown raisins and then add the organic oatmeal last, letting it sit for five to ten minutes to thicken. It tastes great and I know that I have done something healthy for myself. This easily satisfies me till noon or more.
Sometimes I fortify the oatmeal even more by adding hemp seads or a teaspoon of flaked yeast. The hemp seeds add more protein and the yeast gives a shot of B complex. It is good to add yeast flakes to salads also. Just sprinkle them on, but don't use so much that it dominates the flavour. Two teaspoons is plenty. The B vitamins are very important heart vitamins.
I hope that someone finds these coments worthwhile. As they say - "Good health to you"
