This may very well be the longest sentence I have ever read.

You're still hooked on a girl you saw 9 years ago, once. When you were 9 years old!

That's not normal. It's bizarre. You appear to know nothing about her except her name and that she was pretty. You shun other girls because they're not some 9 year old kid you saw from afar one time - move on!

Also, for an 18 year old, your punctuation is AWFUL! I'd rather swallow a sheep's testicle than try and read that single-sentence-catastrophe again. It's never too late to improve your writing skills.

Doesn't seem normal but I didn't vote because I don't know how normal this actually is.
It just doesn't seem healthy because its affecting your relationships.

"All the greatest loves are the unfinished ones." She's a blank canvas you can project your wishes on. Nothing more. It's not even fair to her, building her up in this way. As long as you're making shit up about a stranger, why not try imagining her with an annoying voice or cackle. Or with really wrongheaded politics. Or vegan. Whatever it takes to make you go limp. And then stop looking backwards! It's lazy! Force yourself to look forward, to make plans with someone new whether you want to or not. Something FUN that you want to do, so even if the date is a dud, at least you crossed something off of your bucket list (new restaurant, band, event, etc etc). Rinse. Repeat.
