A friend of mine washes his hair with bar soap

I did it once cause I didnt have shampoo. It felt like it was scorched from the dryness. Maybe their hair is naturally strong or something so it doesent matter though? Who cares anyway lol

I have never met a girl that does this, only a few guys.
I'd say guys do it because they're lazy or they think shampoo is girly.

I have long hair, and have done this in a pinch. makes it a bit dry, and harder to comb. Not strange.

Shampoo foams more and has more moisturizers, so it's a bit nicer to use than a bar of soap.
If soap gets it clean and shiny without making your head itch, then it's a cheap and easy alternative - why not then?
