A friend messes up badly: will you view him/her differently forever?
Let's say that today is your special day: You're getting married to the love of your life at 4 PM! One problem though. Today at 3 PM, is the deadline to pay the Wedding Planner in the amount of $3,000. You and your Fiance/Fiancee are so occupied preparing for the Wedding that neither of you can spare the time to drive there. You both then decide, to relinquish the responsibility of paying the Wedding Planner to a best friend of both of yours, Christy.
Christy gladly accepts the errand, but what she didn't tell you both was that today was her deadline too. She owes her Landlord $3,000 in overdue rent and the amount must be paid by 2 PM or else she'll be evicted. Christy looks at her watch and sees that the time is 1:12 PM. She's desperate and decides to bet the $3,000 on one game of Roulette at a nearby casino in hopes of winning $3,000 for herself. She loses everything, and panics frantically.
It is now 3:55 PM. The Wedding is almost ready to start, but Christy is nowhere to be found. A moment later the Wedding Planner walked in with an angry look on her face and said, " Alright, Weddings' over! I did not receive payment for todays' Wedding Services and I'm shutting everything down! ". You and your Fiance/Fiancee look at each other in disbelief and that very moment Cristy is seen running towards both of you. She starts explaining everything that happened, apologizes, and promises to pay back the money she lost.
