A friend brought me a birthday present but doesnt say happy birthday?

my best friends friend, who i kinda talk to. brought me a birthday present. on my birthday i went out to this club and i saw them both ther my best friends went nuts saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
the other girl, completely ignored me.. then when i got home my bestfriend told me she brought me a present..
is it normal for someone to do that?
why buy them a birthday present if your just gonna ignore them?

    Even though it is your birthday and special to you it doesn't mean that she forgets her own life at this time. Try to be more understanding...you have no idea what is on her mind. She got you a present...most don't even do that. I'd be grateful.

      i'm not saying i'm not grateful for it.
      but shes always been weird with me because she convicts me of taking her bestfriend away when i don't, like i said thank you so much for the gift and everything. but when i'm out with my bestfriend and her she doesn't even say hello or anything. its just odd.

    Do you think maybe she thought you were already being drowned in other people? I tend to shy away from spotlights or people who are in the spotlight.
