I'm too scared to dye my hair blonde.
I'll dye it brown, but only because it's a semi-permanent colour. I don't actually know what's scary about it.
Am I normal?
You're scared of doing something completely optional and pointless.

I was afraid of being blonde too. I have platinum blonde hair now and love it. I started with only few highlights. Then I gradually added more and more. Then I re-bleached my old highlights. It took me two years. Such gradual change was gentle on my hair. Plus I always use very good hair products. My hair is down to my shoulder blades. I love being blonde. And guys love it too. :D My original hair is dark brown.
Also, I think if you are afraid of doing something, always do it. It feels good afterwards. If you have a thought of being blonde in your head already, just do it little by little.
By the way, some research says that blondes make more money and work less. :D
You're worrying because you think people will think your dumb. Don't worry, just ignore the blond haters.... I'm not a blond hater btw.

Seek a professional har stylist, and then if you absoulutely hate it, you can put color on the blonde til it grows out..
Might I suggest starting with partial hilights?
okay I think what she means is that she wants to die her hair blonde she just wants to be able to get her natural cokour back and is scared she won't. I think its normal because I'd love to get blonde highlights (my hair is dark brown, and I'd like to have some different colours) but I don't want to lose my natural hair colour...
dont dye you're hair blonde, atleast not by yourself. blonde is a really hard shade to perfect with home coloring systems. i always go to the salon to get my hair blonde, and i still don't like the way it comes out...if you have brown hair, i suggest stick with it because blonde isnt really all that great. i'd kill to have my brown hair again, but i have to wait months and months and months until my blonde grows out.
well i'm scared about dying it too beacuse i don't wanna loose my natural tone ): but i would love to dye it!
