Hey! I've been infected by hsv-1 just over a year ago and suffer from cold sores inside my mouth and on my lips! This is greatly affecting my self esteem and sex life! Ive tried everything lysine pills, multivitamins, abreva, sunblock chapstick, b12 supplements! Does anyone out there have any hints or info on a cure?!' I would be forever thankful!!
Just find another mate with herpes. Because you cant give herpes, herpes.
have you tried acyclovir? and these transparent patch things to dsguse the scab, hope you are helped by any of our comments

There is NO CURE for herpes cold sores or genital. On the ONLY bright side, Thank The Good Lord above you didnt get shingles instead. Shingles is pretty much like having herpes blisters over half of your body. A buddy of mine had Shingles and a real bad breakout, then he died in a car accident. R.I.P. Steve - We Miss You
But I watched him hurt for a week, I could almost feel the pain he felt. I saw it in his face.
And I've never tried acyclovir... Does it really work? Will my herpes get used to it and become stronger, bigger, and more frequent??
Some people use ice cubes. Ten or fifteen minutes every few hours is supposed to reduce how bad the sore gets and also stops you getting them in the same place in the future.
