I think it’s hilarious when little kids curse.

When my kids were babies and cursed I would start saying words that rhymed or sounded the same to confuse them.

But I also just tell them don’t say that.

Kids repeat what they hear. Stop cussing yourself and keep the child away from those who do.

My first word was “Oh buggar!” copied from my mother when I dropped a toy.

Do a Supernanny, when he swears the first time he gets a warning, the second time he goes on the Naughty Step for 2 minutes. If he gets up early the clock starts over.

Make him smoke a whole carton of cigarettes in one sitting. That will straighten him out.

    That would be awkward.

As a leading family therapist and avid church goer, I offer this advice -

When your child says something inappropriate at church, sternly say, "This is church, God damn it! Watch your fuckin' language while we are here!"

As a black man trying to make it in this world, I think he'll grow out of it.

Give him strict discipline, copy the no nonsense parents. Actually no don't do that I was just kidding. So on topic I am sure when the baby grows up it will stop saying it.

Ummmm your child either learned it from your house or daycare. If it was daycare I'd use another one. If it was in your house, you caused it so do what you can to fix it

    • Yes, I'm trying. I do cuss alot always have. I dont really care that the child is cussing its just that he does it in inappropriate situations like church. Idk how to stop him.

You're Not going to get a 2 year old to understand context of where it's okay to say things they've head you say and what places it's acceptable and what place it's Not. I'd suggest using words around your children that you want them to use only. Save the cussing for after child's bedtime and in the mean time try to reverse what you taught them by teaching them never to say it (not trying to teach them Not to say it in certain places. 2 year olds don't have the cognitive understanding to get that. Just work to unteach it. Maybe a parent coach could help
