30yo who sleeps with a teddy bear every night

i still sleep with a teddy. then again, im a 20 year old girl and i know im not normal XD

That's totally normal. I just graduated high school and I'd say all but one of my good friends has a named stuffed animal they will always sleep with.

I think this is mostly normal. The personification of your bear is your way of "holding on" to your childhood/a better time... I think... You're fine.

hi.. to you for me i don't really think that it is really reallllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyy crazy..i mean your situation sometimes we tend to do such crazy things because we're lack of something especially in the inner side that's why we tend to long for those cute stuffs like me. :))

Aw... If you are straight. If you are not, then that explains a lot. I think that is cute. Just don't be dependent on it. You know who you remind me of? Mr. Bean and Teddy, and he always takes Teddy everywhere he goes.

Perfectly normal. Cuz I sleep in a diaper, pacifier in mouth and wake up every morning to pee and poop in my diaper where I then change into a fresh diaper for the day. U sleep with a Teddy, I wear diapers 24/7 and suck on a pacifier in private. Perfectly normal

I would say about 90%% crazy bro. I mean, ok you built a bond with that bear and by all means, there should be no problem with anyone at any age to have a problem sleeping with something they like to hug.. (most people opt with a pillow however). But the part where you personify this teddy bear and say it will justify bad mouthing with some type of "punishment"... thats where you took a seat on the crazy train.
I suggest you force yourself to stop sleeping with the bear, even for a week, but have it near, on or in the night stand, on a shelf, somewhere close. Slowly branch away from it without completely and all of a sudden just putting it in a box or something.

I'm 29 female and still sleep with 28 year old scruffy, male. I just came out of hospital and really missed hugging scruffy. I wish everyone would just admit they have a teddy and we could all be more comfortable being 'weird' together. we all care too much what people think of us. luckily I had my fave dressing gown which is also a comfort and I proudly walked around in that all day not giving a shit, I should have requested scruffy lol. lets start a revolution!!! teddy power!! I bet they scientifically prove its good for u :-)

Considering you're a guy it might be a bit less normal to sleep with a teddy next to you. If you were a girl it might be more acceptable but it's not abnormal, believe me. It seems that most people are into weirder shit on here.

I'm a 25 year old female and I have a little teddy that I got as a souvenir sitting on my bed. Sometimes when I'm unwell I sleep with it. It's just to have something to hold or if I'm sick then for comfort.

It is not up to you if it is OK with you to sleep with a teddy bear. Have you asked him? It should be a mutual agreement. If so, then go ahead.

I hug my pillow at night sometimes. And do something more with it I do not feel comfortable talking about right now. Is it the same thing? Nooo I just find the position more... same wOrd as above.
