Neither. Any girl looking for any of those traits are never gonna be happy. Some girls thrive on relationships where the guy is a complete douche. Other girls need guys who are less attractive. But in the long run, those girls are never happy. It is my advice that a guy or a girl shouldn't ask questions like "What kind of guy is she into?" or "What kind of guy is he?" The guy should present himself entirely to her in full with confidence, because in the end that's all that matters. That the guy is content with himself. The girl shouldn't go looking for these traits. The girl must realize that these traits are not found in her one and only soul mate. And if she finds a guy, she can't ever fix him into her liking. Ladies, accept him as he is. Look past his flaws for what he is and learn to love him as a whole.

Kind of a toss-up between nerdy, creative, and troubled.
I don't have a "type", really, but I always seem to go for the underdog.

I've learned from my professor that our preference of the opposite sex stems from what we lack (if your a male, then your girlfriend/wife would reflect the female side of you if you ever get to be a female.) Same with females.

E.G:
So my preference would be a man who is tall, with broad shoulders, and who is fit. I myself am a stick, and short. Therefore, if I were to be a male, I would want to be tall and have broad shoulders etc.

I have a feeling most of these answers are ill-informed. For instance, Ive heard plenty of women condemning nice guys for being too nice and acting like pushovers. Or bad-boys beating on their girl.
