I go OMG YOU ARE ADORIBLE. I then proceed on picking it up and putting it outside all the while lecturing it about how my cats and dogs might kill it if they caught it!

Aw, I just leave 'em alone. We get a lot of jumping spiders, and if you look at one close up, they're actually REALLY CUTE. : D They're all fuzzy and have cute big eyes and they jump around all cute-like.

Of course, I live in the Philippines, so we get more than just innocent little jumping spiders. More than once I've discovered giant spiders hanging out in our house - biggest one was probably five inches when spanned out. One of them (the first one I ever found) actually carried a baby sack. We made the mistake of trying to kill it, and a shitton of baby spiders began flooding out from it . . . it was terrible. Ever since then though, I wasn't so squeamish around spiders anymore. Now, whenever I see those spiders, I just scoop them up and toss them outside.

We also get cute tropical-like spiders in our yard. One of them has this weird pattern on its back that looks like a star with a smiley face on it. Another one moved really graceful and petite and was colored brightly orange.

I like spiders. They're pretty cool.

I talk to them. I tell them they are welcome to chill in the corner as long as they don't sneak up on me.

I don't see any reason to kill them, They are living things too so I catch them and put them on a tree outside.

I say hello and tell them to eat allll the mosquitoes they can, and I might give them a name too...if they live in the kitchen they get kitchen names like Heinz or Ajax ...I don't mind them at all.
If they are big and hairy and I can imagine them beating their chests.. I warn them to stay out of my bedroom.

I just trapped a huge one under a jar and I'm not touching it. The owners of the house I'm in can deal with it later. EWWWW!

It depends on my mood. I either let them be or I kill them.

I love spiders. I let it be or bring it outside, depending on the weather. My husband will tell me to kill it, he knows I can't do that. He's just scared of them. A few years ago I went to put on a sweatshirt that had been hanging up for months, and right after I put it on I felt a weird little sensatuon on my arm so I pulled off the sweatshirt to discover that one had cacooned itself in the sleeve and the bastard bit me! I was sooo pissed!! Didn't that spider know that I would never hurt it!! Argh. Oh well, what ya gonna do.

I scream like im being raped. I point and shout KILL IT while standing away from it but so that i can see it because if it disappears ill freak out for days on end.
If its on the floor ill jump on the couch and if no one is willing to kill it i *bang* slipper to the head!!

I hate spiders! Of all the places in the world they could be, they insist on coming into my house.

I have heard girls scream as if they were being murdered from seeing a jumping spiders. That is a phobia. An irrational fear and needs to be taken care of. Most people don't think they have a phobia because their brain will reasons and logic as to why they should be so afraid of them.

I'm killing it, but not because I hate them but because most of them can accidentally go into your bed, under t-shirt etc, get scared and bite you

I live in Australia and most of the time these so called house spiders are the huge, poisonous and deadly spiders like the funnel-webs, red backs and white tails. And even if they aren’t poisonous, such as the huntsman, they still look big enough to either stab you with a knife or hold a pillow over your face while you sleep.

I scream.

I won't kill a bug if it's outside - if it's in my house, I'll scream, maybe cry, and don't go in my room for a week.

Spiders dont bother me. Its those damn june bugs that fly their ugly asses up in my house. GROSS!

I clicked the 'I observe it, I think theyre cute!' but I do not think spiders are cute at all, infact I rather despise them, but not as much as I hate mosquitoes, or ticks, or fleas, or ants. So they're a lesser evil on my list of bugs. By the way, theyre is suppose to be spelled they're.

When I see a spider I usually bring a little bit of gasoline and splash the spider with it and immediately light the fucker up.After that I squish it with a 879pg ecyclopedia to make sure its dead....

Ive handled a few poisonous ones. So house spiders no problem putting them out.

Sorry if someone else said this but did you know the avdrage that you swallow about 8 spiders per year in your sleep. 'lso

one time there was a spider in the tub. I wasn't scared once it wasn't close enough to touch me, so I turned on the water and sent it down the drain. I felt bad about it after, (weird, I know) but he was just cholling out and I killed him

I'll leave it alone if it's small but if it's huge I'll try to kill it over 10 feet away I know men are supposed to be brave but I have always been scared of spiders my whole life.

I capture all insects and spiders and let them out.

Usually I'll pick it up and let it crawl on my arm, it feels very relaxing, especially if I'm outside and its nice weather. Admire it and sit it back where I found it.

Spiders are kinda creepy but they do help get rid of bugs, but they're a bug themself so I guess i'm sort of torn.. lol

Panic, I'm in the wrong house!

I live in an area that is overrun in certain parts of the year by tarantulas...squishing them doesn't work. when we first moved my husband tried this and cut the damn thing in half and it was still crawling...catch and release...

im terrified of spiders..ill start screaming like im being murdered if there is one near me. i have to have someone alse go get rid of it, but not kill it it, for me. as scared as i am of them i dont want them to be killed.

I used to play with spiders as a little kid (According to my parents) But now i got older i just started to fear them. Apparently some phobias are caught from your parents. so maybe thats why?

There is a little one living in the corner of my bathroom--I'll leave him alone for now but next time I sweep the floor in there I won't be ignoring that corner. I've only seen two or three in the last couple months but right now I'm avoiding any bigger spiders because there is no one here to kill them for me. I hate their corpses just as much as when they're alive.

I HATE spiders. As Allie Brosh said in "Hyperbole and a Half," they're like little pieces of death wrapped in scary.
I can't stand to be around them, see them in books, see them on TV, etc. They scare me to death, so I most likely end up running away when I see them. x:

I have THE biggest irrational fear of spiders. When I see them, I feel all tingly and itchy and I cry. Tears start streaming down my face and it gets really hard to breathe. I know it's pretty ridiculous but I can't help it. It's a horrible phobia and the worst part is I can't even kill them. I've actually avoided my room and slept on the couch for weeks at a time because there was a spider that was left unkilled in my room. I never had any traumatic experience with them but they're on the top of my list of fears, for sure.

on average you swallow 10 spiders in your sleep in your lifetime anyway. i dont kill them at first, i check to see if they are deadly and if they are, then i will kill them.
