To be raised by almost religious fanatics, catholic, and be the only one with enough sense to not believe any of that ancient ignorant garbage. Encouraged to follow my science destiny but thrown under the bus when I wouldn't go to church, and berated for years as to why not. Had the balls to be honest about not believing instead of keeping my mouth shut. Close minded mentality resulted in loss of grandparents, uncles, cousins, etc. for my kids. What kinda shit is that.
