'tis the season, right?

I'm a loner by my own choice, like most loners I guess. But I find that during the holiday season I am prone to get really lonely. I am a guy who usually craves to be by himself any other time during the year. But at this time, I really feel the need for sex, for companionship, to be in the company of other humans. Then right after New Years Day I'm back to being content, and sometimes even happy to be by myself. Hey, you loners out there, is this normal? I find a female and get laid tonight. I'll get laid two or three times over the next week and then it's back to my cocoon. I choose to live this way. But is it normal? Are there others like me?
