This woman just hired at the place I work wears a ton of make-up. Her eyebrows look like they're painted on her face. Her clothes are the same type I see on the hookers walking along Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City. You guys who've been there know exactly what I mean. But she gives every guy the cold shoulder. If you don't want to be hit on, why dress and look that way? The other women who work here avoid her; she makes no attempt to be friendly with them. The guys here don't want to make love to her: They want to fuck her. She comes off as that type. What gives with her? Is she normal?

    It could be that she just likes to dress that way and doesn't understand that some styles of dress aren't appropriate for all situations.

    Or you could be right, maybe she does want to be noticed and hit on, just not by you and your coworkers because she finds you unattractive or otherwise unappealing. If you get dressed up and go out looking for a little action, that doesn't mean that if someone who looks like Rosie O'Donnell's mom approaches you, that you will automatically be all in.

    Just because someone might be trying to attract another person, doesn't mean they are willing to settle for any person in the entire world.

          So it is not OK for someone to acknowledge that there are some things they find attractive about someone and other things they do not? It's not like she said it in a rude way like "she's is a fat nasty slob but her face is decent". I thought her comment was honest and respectful

          Listen, I'm sorry I offended you. I, for one, don't tend to judge people that suffer from weight problems or obesity, which I think is a pretty uncommon opinion, as it seems popular culture has no problem looking down on overweight people.

          I do, however, acknowledge the fact that that people are biologically programmed to find youth and health physically attractive, and therefore most people don't find extra weight to be attractive. Of course, there are exceptions to the rule. There are people that do find extra weight to be physically appealing. I personally do not. I understand that feelings about physical attraction are subjective, and this is only my opinion...so, yes, I do find her attractive despite her weight and not because of it. I won't apologise for my opinion. I don't look down on her or others because of their weight, so I don't see the problem. It isn't healthy to be overweight.

          I don't support obesity just because I want to make everyone feel good about themselves. I don't judge those who suffer from weight problems because they can happen for a variety of reasons, and even if said weight problems are simply based on bad choices, I still don't judge. I've made plenty of bad choices myself.

          I'm still not going to pretend that I find obesity to be physically attractive. I apologise if that hurts you.
