My father drinks way too much. Is it normal for a person (alcoholic) to drink this much??? I can barely notice he is drunk, but he downs a litre of whiskey in just one day!? If I tried that I am almost sure I would die, but this man chokes it down like pure water and it hardly affects him. What the Hell!? I didn't know this was possible. I would at least expect him to be completely smashed, but he's maybe a bit tipsy at best. He has been drinking for presumably his entire adult life and is damn near fifty years.

    That's pretty normal for an alcoholic. Although he should get help.
