"keeping it in the family" makes me think of "sweet home alabama"

When someone talks a little too fondly of a specific family member in particular, I always get "Sweet Home Alabama" stuck in my head on a loop.

It's almost instinctive. I can't help it. Is it normal?

if you cannot comprehend someone loving someone in a familial way, you probably have some repressed incestuous urges. Not everything is sexual.
as for it being specifically "sweet home alabama" its probably just the fact that you probably look at memes a lot

The p0rn industry makes a fetish of incest. Think 'step bro and step sis' type, that almost goes there. Modern culture encourages people to think more sexually oriented. So yeah, maybe nowadays I wouldn't be surprised.

    You have your own issues.
Are you refering to the song, or.
    The movie?
My guess is you've never lived in alabama.
So, your stereotype comes from ignorance.
How would you like a stereotype about your homestate?
