I had an orange named Simon. He lived in my fridge for about seven or eight months. Had I known he had such longevity, I would have named him Bilbo (he really only aged in the last month). I even took him with me when I moved.
I knew a guy who had a rabbit and he named it Christmas, because he was going to cook it for Christmas dinner...
Well, once a long time ago, my lemon tree grew a lemon in a shape of a hand giving the finger. We kept it around for a very long time till it shriveled to nothingness. I don't want to say what we named it. But just take a running guess.
lol at my old job, one of the inmate named an orange Bruno. he even gave him a face :) but one day bruno had an unfortunate accident (he was murdered, very brutally actually... smashed against a wall at high speeds) and we had a funeral service for him. lol it was actually kinda sad bruno was a nice orange :(
i like jeremy. i never name my food only my pets and my car. but i have a friend that named his mac "Macarena"
P-tron, that's because Philip is a name exclusively for nickels. Specifically girl nickels.
I don't like naming things I'm going to eat, guess it has to do with growing up in a farming community. Unless it is a avocado plant. I find Jeremy an acceptable name.
i try not to name food but when i do i've always been partial to chaz, or carl. really anything w/ a C sounds appetizing except phil. i hate that guy.
