I can't fall asleep around other people I don't trust. I've been an only child and that's how I was raised if that helps.. I won't even fall asleep around my girlfriend .Also if my friends are all going to vacation and they want me to come with them I will rent a room seperate for myself.

    I find I sleep easier with people around than without.

    It is normal because it's how you are, Don't ever think your not normal because of this. It's not a big deal if it's not effecting you. The only problem is you probably don't get much sleep if your around someone for a long period of time. Try and relax.

    I don't like sleeping around other people. I like having my own private space. I wasn't an only child but me and my sister had our own rooms.

    So yeah, I don't find this that abnormal. I think it does depend on how you grew up as to how comfortable you are sleeping near other people.
