(is it normal) how do i bring this matter up

I've been talking to my ex on a friend status, but I'm still not over my ex. I want what we had, there's no getting over it. I just don't know how to bring this up. I know the feeling isn't mutual but I have to get this off of my chest. I just don't know how to tell him.

Honesty is the best policy. ask him to dinner or lunch, or something or invite him to your house, then tell him. Just be prepared for any and all consequences from this choice. Or you can just let it eat at you till you and drive you crazy inside.

Don't tell him if you want to keep the friendship. You sound like a very selfish, needy, manipulative and codependent female judging by your own words, " I know the feeling isn't mutual but I have to get this off of my chest." What if your ex doesn't want to hear you unload on him? What about how he feels? Or is your need to get this off your chest the most important thing to you?

Why are you still friends with your ex? Is it because you want him and the relationship back cause that's a very self serving reason.

So why would people even be in realtionships if they didnt have selfish reasons ..people want love , sex, companionship...your standards would mean you have to be mother theresa and only be in relationships for the love of others which of course you would say is co fependant...by the way codependant people are selfish that is true but they also put other peoples needs before their own...as if their own needs dont matter

Being honest with your feelings allows you to move on...thats how you move on...when she opens up to him and he does or does not reciprocate the process of moving on will be facilitated..

You seem to know a lot of the psych jargon but not enough of the real definitions

Completely normal. But, because you broke up it would never be the same as it was. Keep it on a positive note And move on.
