"is it normal for my penis to bleed?"

I'm a bit of a late bloomer and first masturbated "all the way" about a month ago. I've done it almost every day at least once since then, and occasionally twice or three times. About two weeks ago, I started getting bleeding spots on the side of my penis (probably a few millimeters around). There are 5 total and one in particular is on a small piece of skin between the head and the base (I'm circumcised). I normally do it with soap when I'm in the shower. Not surprisingly, my penis stings a lot when soap or shampoo land on the spots.

It's not normal for this to happen, is it? Can I only heal the cuts if I stop for a while? How can I stop them from coming back?

I agree. ouch. Shampoo and moisturizing liquid soap can be ok, but never bar soap. Let the skin heal first though.
