is it normal feel insecure about how few people write on my facebook timeline?
I'm 19 and a guy. I've become one of those guys who has a Facebook, but doesn't really care about it. Sadly this isn't the case. I have a little over 450 friends. A while back I felt insecure, because I realized people only write in my timeline like once every 5 weeks. Sometimes when a lot of time passes and I haven't gotten one it drives me nuts. I've even gone as far as sending a post to someone, I haven't spoken to in awhile, just hoping they'll reply by sending a post on my timeline. So I've pretty much stopped updating my status so it doesn't look like I care. It's not that I don't have friends, it's just the real close ones always text me stuff, and I'm not that close with many girls (who use Facebook much more than boys). I've grown to hate the website, because I really do think everyone tries to make their life seem more awesome than it really is. Yet at the same time I secretly wish it had more going on. Is it normal to feel insecure about it even though I'm well-aware how stupid it really is?
