I'm a 20yo female. I'm very mature for my age so it's nothing new that I have friends who are a lot older.. Not to long ago I met a guy(coworker)who is 45 he's an awesome guy don't get me wrong but is it normal he constantly insist on taking me out for drinks?.. I did go out with him once but he tried to take me to his house when we clearly discussed we were going to a bar.. It kinda freaked me out.. He has children my age and is married with grandchildren!!.. (I just found this out don't judge me) he texts me asking where I am really late like 12-1 in the morning and says "I was in town wanted to know if you wanted to come out" he always wants me to come over his house and when I say sure I'll bring my friend with me he says why no come alone .. Am I over thinking the situation or is he indeed a creepy guy..

    Nothing wrong with having older friends and as you move into adult life age is less important (you're adults). But this isn't about age or friendship but rather a guy who seems confused about his relationship with you. So you need to set limits.

    You're not that mature then. A mature girl would have realised that she has been giving this man wrong signals and now he probably thinks that maybe you have a crush on him. A mature girl would tell him that she is not interested to go further with him and that she feels uncomfortable about going home with him. A mature girl would know that it is normal for men to 'chase'. He's only forty-five, he still has needs and desires. He is a man. A mature girl should have already understood all that. He's not creepy.

    There is nothing wrong with being friends with someone of that age, but since he's hitting on you this way you should just make it clear. You don't want to hang out with him because he makes you feel uncomfortable; tell him that.
