they are twins , I have always completely spoiled him his whole life because he is perfect in every way. Her personality has annoyed me since birth. I let him party do whatever he wants and tease her mercilessly My mother thinks I am so wrong in doing this. My wife hates it and it has put a kink in our relationship.I bought him a brand new sportscar even though he is probably flunking every class at college I refuse to pay for college for my daughter or do anything to make her life easy and grudgingly take her to a fast food job.

    I hope this isn't real, but what would you do if you needed a kidney, the only suitable match was your daughter and she refused to help you, because you've always treated her badly while spoiling her fraternal twin brother? How would you feel knowing you were getting just what you deserve for playing favorites with your children?

    Sounds like someone is pissed off at their Dad. My Mom treats my sister with a strong degree of favoritism and my brother as well. My sister treats her with less respect than I did and gets more than I got. It's normal to get a bit booty tickled but you're going to be a better person because of it. Struggle builds character. Being spoiled obviously isn't helping him but it will help you in the real world when a lot of your competition is probably going to have been from similar circumstances as him.

    Favoritism is never good, OP. A fine case-in-point example as to why people should really think before they have multiple children. I know I (personally) could never do it.
