Men this does not pertain to you as you do not get a monthly visitor. However might make a reverse poll for this question from guys view point. I was just curious. Is it normal or abnormal for a women to tell her man?

One of my ex partners would say "I'm fallen to the red communists".
I knew from there I'll be facing a period of deprivation during the blockade of Stalingrad.
I have no shame about my period and rarely use euphemisms when talking about my menses.
And I usually tell my husband when I'm on my period before he gets a chance to ask.
I'm a man but they always tell me, it would be awkward for me to try to go down there during a bloody mess.
Trust me, your man knows. Or at least i always knew when my ex gf was on hers. Aside from the PMS, she REEKED of vag blood. And she didn't like to do stuff on her period so she'd let me know, and then i could make a mental note on my calendar of when the next one would be.
She also hated showering and would only shower one to two times a week, so maybe that's why I could smell it so easily. And I googled it just now, your pH changes while on your period, therefore changing the smell ( I didn't know anything about it, so i just assumed it was vag blood).
