(male btw)Is this just me making another excuse up for not messaging a girl i am interested in. Or am i totally right? (i am a man who does not seek sex just affection) So could we go along with that scenario.

    Unless you're on a dating app, yes. There is nothing I hate more than desperate men DMing me on Instagram for example thinking that i'm gonna give them a chance to date, especially the dumbos who live in a whole different country. How do they even know i'm single, straight or looking? They don't. If I was looking i'd be on dating apps.
