*females* what are your thoughts on a guy who doesn't shave down there

As a rule of thumb, if you expect her to be shaved you should shave yourself.

Not shaved. I prefer men in their natural state and don't understand all the fuss about bare genitalia, it's a turn-off!

I'm not going to give head if he isn't shaven down there. No matter how clean he is, I don't do bush diving. It always smells funky with bush.

Sure have a little trimmed bush up top. TRIMMED, but you need to shave your ball sack. That's probably a girls least favorite part about blowing a guy. Having pubic hair brushing up against your chin is a no.

As long as it's nice and clean, I don't mind some fuzzy. Though generally if you're going to rock a bush you should trim it up a bit. Well maintained pubes can look really good, but totally untrimmed can look kinda scraggly on some people.

Dude. If you're planning on having sex with a girl, I strongly advise you at least time down there. This is 2013. The 80s bush porn is gone man. It's rank. Most women watch porn and expect a man to at least be trimmed down there. Why do you think most women shave too?

I'm a gay man and I don't really like shaven men at all (or women either- I don't have sex with them, but can certainly appreciate good looks). Shaven reminds me of plucked chickens and turns me off!
This is an American site and I've been using it for a week or so. I find it very interesting indeed. I am English but feel European as a first issue partly because like lots of people I have mixed European ancestry but also because I speak French and have a holiday home there.
Therefore my attitudes may not be typical, I don't know. But why do people want to shave pubes at all? Don't you like the feel of them, the smell of them etc.? If I am having sex with someone then I almost want to eat them alive, every single little part of them, cock, balls, mouth, face, hands, arse, everything…..I don't like my food messed with so why would I like "my" bodies messed with?
I am coming to some conclusions about American attitudes: Many people on this site seem hung up on personal hygiene to the point of seeming unhealthiness and seem to have a moral compass dictated by a particular protestant Christian morality. For example many seem upset by natural functions like shitting and sweating, and think anal sex is "dirty" for example. This strikes me as, well, just strange. I don't understand it at all.
As to the Christian part, that is a bit odd too: I have read the Bible from cover to cover several times and it is an interesting book but the Christians I meet and read about seem to pick and chose which bits of it they like and then say their attitudes are "Godly" which is notable. Jesus seems to have been a very nice chap, with very few prejudices. He didn't make judgements about individuals and one of the most important people in his life is widely believed to have been a retired sex worker by biblical scholars. I confess I don't feel comfortable with the moral attitudes of many contributors to the site and actually don't think that Jesus would have liked them either. For example, he didn't say anything that was written down about men who have sex with men and yet many Christians believe that homosexuality is wrong on the basis of a few lines in the old testament. However, there are parts of that book which celebrate the love of one man for another. Where is the logic in the Christian position? Where does it come from? I absolutely have no idea. Help please!

Depends on how much is there, but generally I think men should stay natural, as a women I like to keep the lady garden nice n neat! For women who are scared about a mouth full off pubes, run your fingers through his pubes (subtley) it feels intimate and gets rid of loose stragglers! Win win!

I am a female, and I don't usually wax, only on occasion in the summer, if I feel like it for hygiene purposes. I always keep it super trimmed and clean though, which is how I expect a guy to be. I prefer a guy with hair, shaven is gross and not masculine in my opinion. As far as oral goes, use common sense, as long as it's short enough not to interfere with a girl doing work, then it shouldn't matter. Everyone's got their own preference but I personally think you'd be safer across the board if you keep it natural, but short and clean, maybe line up the edges for a clean look. In my opinion only boys and girls are bare, I'm a woman and have hair, and expect a man to as well.
