1 day period

I only have my period for one day, sometimes not even that. When I was younger I was very happy about it and people told me I was lucky (other then my mom, but I didn't listen to her at the time). But now I'm a little worried, because I've heard that the shorter your period the less likley you are to get pregnant. That scares the shit out of me because I've always loved kids and dreamed about having kids.
So what I want to know is, is it normal to have such short periods? And will it make it harder to get pergnant?

See your doc. Short periods won't prevent pregnancy due to the fact that you get pregnant during ovulation.

See your doc! I had super long periods and they were caused by a tumor on my ovary. Now, I'm not saying that this is anything serious but Irregular periods can mean problems. Better safe than sorry, get it checked out

yea ask a gynecologist and possibly endocrinologist. menstrual disorders are caused by hormonal disorders a lot of the time. At least you have a period.

  • I'd ask your doctor about it, my friend used to have her period for 7 days but I only get it for 3 and half/4 days.

Every woman is different though, some get more than others.

Exactly what randomjelly says. The length of a period differs but it doesn't directly relate to pregnancy. You don't get pregnant during your period.
