Hello i'm a 32 Years old girl and i never had a relationship. I suffered from depression since i was a teenager and i really had some dark times. Now i'm feeling better and i'm not depressed i think. I have a job, i live on my own and have some friends. I'd like to see a psychotherapist but i feel ashamed to tell her i never dated anybody, i never had sex, i've never been kissed. Also i like girls and i do not feel attracted to men. I never told anybody. I fear therapist's reaction, what do you think?

    At 32, it may be uncommon but certainly isn't abnormal

    So you are a lesbian? get out there and meet somebody. Who better to help you explore your body than another woman. If sex and stuff scares you, learn to explore your own body through masturbation, its experience at the end of the day. Tell your shrink everything, the more they know the better they can help you.

    Don't worry, they are not there to judge, It might feel good to have it out in the open. It's not like it's anything to be ashamed of.

    I think you should just relax and see your therapist. If your therapist judges you get another!!! Liking women is perfectly normal. Don't rush it. Take your time and start enjoying life.

    It's hard to shock a therapist. Often they are more disturbed than their patients, plus they have heard it all many times.
