What do you think of this age gap? I'm 22 and there is this guy that is 14 years older than me that I like. We have a lot of the same interests and we pretty much have the same opinions.
I had an 88 year old man living across the street from me that was more active than most 22 year old men that I know nowadays. His baby Momma was 16, he was a horn dog. Now that is illegal, but my point is, balls to anyone who thinks that a younger woman and an older man can't have fun with each other. You're only as old as you let yourself get... usually.
I totally deviated from the point. Normal. I don't blame someone in that age group for wanting to date younger. From what I have heard, most people in that age group are tapped out of life, married, or both. That's just what I have heard from people that age, though. No worries, ladies.
If your maturity level is something he's happy with, I don't see any problems.

It may seem fine right now, but if you're in a long-term relationship with this joker, in a few years, you're going to be sorry. A 36-year-old man, who has a lot in common with a 22-year-old girl is IMMATURE and five years from now, when you're 27 and he's still acting 22, you're going to see just how immature he is! Do NOT get involved with this loser! Find a guy closer to your own age so that the two of you can mature together.
