50 shades trilogy

What is you're opinion on the 50 shades trilogy.

I have seen many websites were they post that its porn should be banned and that they have had book burnings etc. I personally think its a great love story with the bonus of a little erotica and don't get why those people only see the sex part of the book if anything its them that are the problem not the books.

Whats you're opinion?

P.S did anyone fell like the author should have left the part of Christian Gray's POV out if she was not going to write the books with his point of view that it was messed up left the reader wanting.

The 50 shades trilogy was originally written as a Twilight fan fiction. The author must have realized at one point or another that she had a good story going on and decided to transform it into a work that holds itself.

Twilight fan fiction! You just gave us even more reason to ridicule it.

Porn in it's most pathetic form and areal blow for the female rights movement.

      I'm female, and I -like- porn. >>
Anyway, as long as there's a little plot, there's nothing wrong with erotica.

The rights of others end where your feelings begin.

Well it mustn't of been much of a movement if a work of fiction about two fictional people's relationship constitutes a real blow.

PS Females have both rights and privilege, now you're just going for control and censorship.

    • How is it a blow to the female rights movement Ana stands up for her self and doesn't let christian completely dominate her you are not reading the book the only time she really listens to him is when they are in the play room other than that she is a self sufficient female that doesn't totally let her self be dominated by gray it has nothing going against the female rights movement

It's a love story and a porn. That's not why I dislike it. I dislike it because it gives people with my fetish a bad name.

I haven't read it. From what I've heard the problem is not the sex but that it's just badly written. And since it's aimed at teenage girls (I'm assuming that because it's twilight fan fiction) I'm pretty sure I will never read it.
