90's kids always criticize 00's kids?

i am a 90's kid myself but everytime i see something related to the 90's,i see other 90's kids criticizing 00's kids, for example some would say '' 90's are so much better than the other genarations'' or '' 00's kids are stupid or '' 90's were so much better everything sucks now'' and '' spongebob sucks now'' i always see that and it annoys me, that is why 00's kids hate us. this genaration does have some good things, CGI in movies, more technology, better graphic video games, and SOME good music, and SOME good shows. is it normal. why would 90's kids criticize 00's kids?

Google, YouTube: "Dreams of the 90's are alive in Portland"... You'd appreciate it.

Oh, of course every generation believes they were born and raised during the pinnacle of music, style and entertainment, it coincides with nostalgia and attachment to ones memories, growing up.

Every generation argues "they had it better" regarding a lot of things, but of course it being such a relative matter, no one is really right or wrong, when this debate continues.

Personally, I would not debate either, I have attachments to both the 90's/00's, as I was a teenager in the 00's, and in elementary school, during the 90's. I love all of what each generation had to offer, be it music, style or entertainment.

I don't pull that. I was born in the nineties and grow a portion of my young life in the 2000's. Sure the nineties were great, but the 2000's - especially the early-mid, we're fantastic.

The 90's kids that are doing this need to save their words and focus them on 2008 and onward. If I am not mistaken, 2008 is when I first started to hear the beginnings of the mainstream music's soulless, and meaningless, copy-cat synthesiser crap. Etc.

It's because most of us look back on our childhood years fondly and nostalgically; they are our formative years.

Everything is new and exciting, the music, the TV shows, the films, the books... It skews our ability to objectively compare that decade with others. We are inherently biased.

Every generation sucks and kicks ass for different reasons. You can't debate a matter of taste.

All I know is the '90s and early 2000s were way better when it comes to TV shows. All this 'Uncle Grandpa' shit is ridiculous.

I couldn't take you seriously anymore when you said "this generation does have some good things, CGI in movies"

  • I was born in 1989. Does that make me a 90s kid or a 2000s kid? Since I was only 10 years old by the end of the 90s.

If you were a 90's kid you would know it. You would feel that shit in your bones.

Because they want to feel older and better about their own generation.

Your speculation regarding my age is incorrect.

I made a reference to a major event of the 2000s, namely the mysterious anthrax letters.

            be dat better?

no, we had Oregon Trail and original mario!

For me, the fact that parents can be arrested for sending their kids to a park unattended is a big downfall on the progress of the nation. In the 90's I could play outside and my parents didn't worry about me being abducted.

They all pale compared to the 60's. But I do envy you young 'uns the technology you will see and that each and every one of you will be able to go into space in your lifetimes. I don't envy you the pollution, Soylent Green and overpopulation, but nothing's perfect is it?
