So I am 21 and virgin. I have been living in a quite small town in a very homophobic country for 19 years and then I moved to the extremely open-minded United Kingdom where I had the chance to be myself but well, nothing really happened. I have actually met a few girls and even had a kinky almost-sexual relationship with one of them(things like touching, biting, choking, kissing and leaving hickeys... no actual sex though). Fact is, I am 100% gay and only attracted by the male body, but I am not comfortable going to gay bars or meeting gay people on grindr, and ironically it seems like I am some sort of pussy-magnet so my chances of getting laid have always been low. I am not particularly obsessed with losing my virginity, or with finding myself a boyfriend, but I think that if I don't start experimenting with guys ASAP I will end up being old and sexually unexperienced. Sadly all my best friends are straight, so I can't ask them to teach me. So I am now basically waiting for some dude to come out from nowhere and have sex with me. Is it normal?

    It's hard to put yourself out there, especially when you've likely been taught for your entire life that being with a man is wrong. (be it religious, societal, what have you.)

    I would suggest you find it within yourself to go out to a bar, club, meet up or anything to the like. Maybe look around and study the scene. Find a slow night to go out the first few times. Just remember that going out doesn't equate to a sexual committal of any kind. I'd advice you to take it slow, but to follow your heart.

    This is normal and being gay has nothing to do with being a virgin. There's no rush at all and there are more virgins out there than you think. Even some guys/girls who claim they lost it sometimes wait until marriage because of their morals.
