It's just a funny habit, I have to have my door locked, TV on with sleep timer & I have to have my iPod on my docking station. I used to think I was weird. Then my friend told me she checks her closet bed & crawl space everysingle night to make sure... She's 15!
Lol, but Thats alright!
Whatever helps you sleep at night!
I also like to use a radio, but only at a low volume. Sometimes, it keeps me up though. It drowns out that annoying hum I hear when its completly quiet.
i hate that cuz my sister does it and i can hear her fan from my room... and it bugs her that ihave my fan off so she turns it on when im sleeping
I need a fan, I try as hard as I can, too sleep, but I just can't. I need a fan, I use it, I fall asleep pretty fast
There are many people that need some kind of expected noise while sleeping. Some people need a TV, others a fan, others music. I, myself, if it is quiet I find my ears perking up for every minute little noise and my mind also starts to wander and get curious about things I don't yet know.
lol u are normal!! i can't sleep with out a fan, cuz i can't sleep when its all quiet.
and it has to be on high too :)
Wow. I thought I was the only person who did this!!! All my friends think im a freak lol.
same here but mine is multipurpose it helps drown out the hum of my comp.
OMG, i must have the fan on full blast humming for me to fall asleep. If someone turns it off or the power go out i wake up immediately, i know weird right?
Shouldn't be a problem really except you may want to wipe the fan blades off once or twice a week so you're not breathing in all that dust.
You should watch out having a fan or even high winds blowing in your face directly cause it might give you a face stroke. My aunts face got paralyzed on the left side cause she stood outside in the cool wind while hanging her clothes on the line. She did state that she was a bit sweaty so i guess that had an effect too..She did recover from it , athough she had to go around with limited lip and cheek movement for about a month.
Just be careful!
I dont have this problem, but my grandmother likes to sleep with her fan blowing in her face.
Sounds like you need to hear the hum of the fan blades, that's all. (or staying cool?)
When I moved from the noisy city to a DEAD quiet suburb, I got an old humidifier for $2 and run that thing all night so I can sleep. Now they have electronic gadgets that create "white noise".
After about 2 years I was ok and didn't need it.
I guess that's normal. Keep using it. A fan might not be good in the winter though.
