They are both very good but i prefer Fender 10

    I have an Gold-plated American Deluxe Stratocaster (Yes, I meant to rub it in), but I like both.

    Uhh, I have a Squier Bass, so I prefer Fender above Gibson, which is almost broke I thought.

    But my favourite is the Rickenbacker 4003 ;)

    Gibson, every time; but Epiphone are as good as Gibson & cheaper, & Squier are as good as Fender & cheaper; best guitars are PRS, & I've never heard or played a bass better than my Rickenbacker 4001.

    it depends on what kinda sound and look you want. fender i think is for the classic classics and gibson is a little more stylish and edgy
