Many intellengent people do not have college degrees.

In fact, there is actually an inverse relationship to the amount of education past about 7th grade and lifetime wealth creation.

There are many self made millionaires who never went to college, and a number of them never even graduated from high school. The school system teaches you to get a job. Life teaches you a lot about people skills - and the vast majority of wealth is created by starting and building businesses. People who have received relatively little indoctrination into being trained to get a job tend to be more successful in starting and building businesses.

Honestly, it's gotten to the point that I almost wonder if people who didn't go to college are more intelligent than those who did. What's "intelligent" about going hundreds of thousands of dollars into debt for an unmarketable degree while your professors actively pound the critical thinking skills out of your head by threatening to fail you if you're not "woke" enough

Depends on the college and the degree. They aren't all safe spaces that only teach gender studies or whatever. Go to a state college and you don't need much at all in loans. Get a STEM degree and you will probably be too busy to care about politics.

My uncle is an example of this. He dropped out of highschool started a landscaping business. Started buying land right off the mainroad in our small town until the town blew up and investors started asking to buy his properties to build strip malls. Instead of selling them the properties he got loans to build them himself and then he rented them to businesses.

Now he owns restaurants and strip malls and he rents to them. Hes made millions off properties he just kept buying more and more with the money from the rent. It took a little luck to be honest but he pulled it off. I use to rent a house from him when I was younger. Hes got alot of properties and when you text him his spelling is awful he cant hardly write. Im not saying that to make fun of him but it just shows that people can succeed with enough drive in America even if they arent educated.

I'm already with someone without a degree. I don't really mind what they do. I love them for other reasons.

Why would I care whether or not she has a degree...? I don't even really care if she has a job, she just has to have the right attitude. Do SOMETHING interesting, don't just stand around looking for handouts.

Not to say I don't value education. I like talking to educated, intelligent people. But I'm not going to automatically assume they're smart just because they have a degree OR a higher-paying job. Depends on what the degree is in and what exactly she does for a living.

Many people with an alphabet soup after their name are just plain stupid. My sis, may she rest in peace, was a lawyer and had 2 other degrees but no commonsense. She burned out the engine in her car cause she didn't know to put oil in it.

Yeah. I dont care as long as someone is passionate about something. Even if someone doesn't have a job it's fine as long as they occupy their time with something that makes them happy instead of sitting around. I am on the autism spectrum so may be biased though, many of us either can't work due to getting fired everytime because we lack social skills or we can but get burned out easily since we can't process sensory input normally. There's other values to a person, but I don't like laziness so I need someone to be ambitious in some way.

Either have a degree or a job better paid than mine. If she has no degree and no job I'm passing
